En-Gender started out as a journal and is now a multi-platform academic resource that boasts a working paper series, a blog, a network of researchers, readings lists and yearly conferences.
They write: “En-Gender aims on establishing an international community for the study of gender in the cultural studies, social sciences and humanities. We especially want to create a joint community for undergraduate and postgraduate scholars on gender.”
This season, En-Gender! conversations focused on “the feel-good academy” — how are scholars making the academy, a notoriously horrid place, better, how are they building networks and community, and how are they prioritizing communities of care and concern. We were honored to join such a season. And we’re only a little bit apologetic about giggling our way through their very professional episode.
We want to thank Jessica Albrecht and Leandro Wallace, the two scholars who host and run the En-Gender Conversations podcast. Check them out!
